Chapter 9: What Does the Bible Call Truth ?

What Does the Bible Call Truth?

            Most of the time if you ask a Christian about the Biblical definition of "truth" they will hit you with Messiah's statement in John 14:6-9 where Yeshua says

          "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one come to the Father
          except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have
           known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and
          and have seen Him....He who has seen Me has seen the Father."

Friends we have a great example here of the Messiah, the Living word, leaving us clues if we bother to READ the TaNaK. It wasn't until I bothered to read the ENTIRE Bible from cover to cover in a nine (9) month period myself that I discovered the Scripture DEFINES something that is also called "the way;" something called "the truth" and something that brings "life." Messiah is also called "The light of the world" in John 8:12; John 9:5; and John 12:46. Likewise; the Scriptures DEFINE something else as being "the light." Here is a hint. One was written on tablets of stone; and, the skins of animals. The other has what was written on stone; and, skins written upon His heart; and, His mind. The latter came to show us how to walk it out in our conduct; just as He did. What most fail to recognize is that we need both. Without further adieu let's jump right into the term "truth" It ties very neatly into "stability" as you will see by the end.

     If one does a word search for “truth” at BlueletterBible.org they will find the following statistics about the term “truth”:

Version (Appearances)

                        NKJV (210)                     ESV (130)
                 NIV (214)                        RSV (138)
                 ASV (225)                       DBY (203)
                 WEB (226)                      HNV (209)
                 NLT (251)                        KJV (224)

The very FIRST time we ever see the term "truth" appear in the Bible is in Genesis 24:27. Here is what the Strong's Concordance says about it:

          Strong's # H571 'emeth eh'-meth Contracted from H539;
          stability; figuratively certainty, truth, trustworthiness: -
          assured (-ly), establishment, faithful, right, sure, true (-ly, -th),
          verity.

Notice the very FIRST definition of "emet" is "stability." Keep this in the back of your mind as we move forward in this chapter. There happen to be thirteen (13) different Hebrew words which are rendered "truth" in English. This particular term is THE primary word; and, it appears 127 times in the Hebrew TaNaK.

Above you can see the progression of the Aleph from its oldest form where it appeared as the head of an OX and meant "strength;" or, "head." If you didn't already know; Hebrew reads from right to left. The next letter in the word Emet is the "Mem" it is the middle letter.

In the oldest form the Mem looked like waves of water. It means "chaos;" "mighty;" and "blood." The last letter is the Tav which you see below.

As you can see Tav in its oldest format looked like a cross; and, it meant "a mark;" "sign;" "monument;" or "covenant." My friends when we take the Hebrew back to its original picture language we get a message that even a third grader can understand.

Friends the truth is literally a STRONG MIGHTY COVENANT. Truth is permanent; it doesn't change; and cannot be shaken; or, destroyed. It is the Strength of the Covenant that יהוה makes with His people Israel. Sounds like something pretty stable to me, wouldn't you agree?

            I would like to emphasize the appearance of the FIRST use of "truth" in Scripture in Genesis 24:27. It happens to be the SAME term used in Psalm 119:142; and, in Malachi 2:6. Turn with me to Psalm 119:142 please:

Turn with me now to Malachi 2:6 if you would:

   "The law (תורת) of truth (אמת) was in his mouth,
 and injustice was not found on his lips.
He walked with Me in peace and equity
and turned many away from iniquity."

Follow me to Psalms 25:4-5 please:

     "Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths
Lead me in Your truth (באמתך) and teach me.
For You are the God of my salvation;
on You I wait all the day."

Remember; so far the Bible has identified the Torah as being "truth." Turn with me please to Psalm 96:13 if you would :

"For He is coming for He is coming to judge the earth.
He shall judge the earth with righteousness
and the peoples with His truth (באמונתו) ."

My friends Torah is the standard that יהוה uses. It also happens to be the same standard Yeshua uses to judge both the living; and, the dead. His sheep hear His voice; the goats do not. In fact the commandments ARE how He judges. Turn with me to Psalm 119:172 please:

My tongue shall speak of Your word,
for all your commandments (מצותיך) H4687
are righteousness.

Follow me please to Psalm 119: 150-151 if you would:

"They [the wicked] draw near who follow after wickedness;
they [wicked] are far from Your law (H8451).
You are near, O LORD, and
all Your commandments (מצותיך) H4687
are truth (אמת: emet)."

"The "law" here is the Torah; and, the term commandments is Strong's # H4687 (מצותיך):

          "mitzvot mits-vaw' comes from H6680; a command, whether

          human or divine (collectively the Law): - (which was)
          commanded (-ment), law, ordinance, precept.

All the ordinances or precepts within the Torah are truth (emet). All the ordinances and precepts are stability. Follow me as we turn to 1 Samuel 12:24 if you would.

"Only fear the LORD (יהוה), and serve Him
in truth with all your heart..."

     Friends at the time this was written Messiah had not yet come. There was no suggestion by Samuel to walk in Messiah. Samuel was speaking to ALL ISRAEL; and, the only thing that qualified scripturally as "the truth" was the Torah of Moses given to them by יהוה. Serving God in truth meant serving God by obeying Torah. Serving Him by being obedient IS what gives us our stability.   Come with me to 2nd Kings 20:3 will you?

"'Remember now, O LORD (יהוה),
I pray how I have walked before you
in truth (באמת) and with a loyal heart,
and I have done what was good in your sight.'
and Hezekiah wept bitterly."

The context of this passage is that King Hezekiah (King of Judah) had pleaded with יהוה that He remember how Hezekiah had walked in obedience to Torah; how he walked in stability. In fact 2 Kings 18:6 tells us that Hezekiah:

"held fast to the LORD;
he did not depart from following Him,
but kept His commandments[H4687: Mitzvah]
which the LORD had commanded Moses."

It was during the reign of this righteous King that the northern tribes of the House of Israel were taken away into captivity by the King of Assyria (2 Kings 18:12):

"because they did not obey the voice
of the LORD (יהוה) their God,
but transgressed His covenant
and all that Moses the servant of
the LORD had commanded
and they would neither hear nor do them."

Hezekiah was sick and near death; was informed by the Prophet Isaiah to set his house in order (prepare for death). Hezekiah's response was to pray to יהוה and weep bitterly pleading with יהוה to remember how he had served Him and been obedient (2 Kings 20:3) all the days of His life. Turn with me to 2 Kings 20:5-6 and read the response of יהוה to Hezekiah via the prophet Isaiah:

"I have heard your prayer,
I have seen your tears;
surely I will heal you.
On the third day you shall go up
to the house of the LORD (יהוה).
And I will add to your days fifteen years.
I will deliver you and this city
from the hand of the King of Assyria;
and I will defend this city
for My own sake;
and, for the sake of My servant David."

     Almost a year ago today (August of 2014) my own father Robert (who adopted me when I was eighteen (18) months old) was sick upon his death bed. Oh how I wish he could have turned his face to the wall weeping bitterly to יהוה and asking Him to remember his obedience; and, loyalty to Him. Yet; he was not a man like King Hezekiah. He didn't have the character; or, desire to obey the truth as King Hezekiah did. How many of us can say such a thing? The manner in which יהוה moved for that righteous man was intense; and, speaks towards how much He values those who love righteousness. It should cause us to desire such a thing to be said about our character. Turn with me to the Psalms as you find Psalm 26:1-3 please.

"Vindicate me, O LORD,
for I have walked in my integrity.
I have also trusted in the LORD (יהוה) ;
I shall not slip. Examine me, O LORD (יהוה),
and prove me; try my mind and my heart,
For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes,
and I have walked in Your truth (באמתך)"

Friends if the Bible declares the Torah to be the thing which is referred to as "Your Truth" then it is always "His Truth;" and, "the Truth" always has been "the Truth"; and, always shall be "the Truth." Walking in truth meant walking in Torah. Now we move forward to Psalm 31:5:
"Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have redeemed me
O LORD (יהוה) God of truth."

Friends there is only one God of truth; the God of Abraham; Isaac; and, Jacob; the one called יהוה and He has given us His Torah; His truth. Turn with me to Psalm 51:6 please:

"Behold, You desire truth
in the inward parts,
and in the hidden part
You will make me to know wisdom."

It shouldn't surprise us that יהוה desires truth to be in our innermost thoughts. The New Covenant Spoken of in Jeremiah 31:33 indicates that He will write His Law (the Torah); His Truth upon the hearts; and minds of the Children of the house of Judah; and, the house of Israel. Turn with me now to Psalm 86:11 please.

"Teach me Your way (דרכך: derek) O LORD (יהוה)
I will walk in Your truth (באמתך)
unite my heart to fear Your name."

There is a way that is broad; and a way that is narrow. The broad way is the way that leads to death; and, the narrow way is the path that leads to eternal life.
יהוה wants to show us the way (derek) to obtain life. We should listen to Him; especially if we love Him. His way is to follow; to obey; to walk in truth; to walk in Torah. There are many who say the Torah (the truth) was abolished; or, done away with. However; Psalm 100:5 indicates that the mercy of יהוה is everlasting (forever throughout eternity) and His truth endures to all generations. Likewise Psalm 117:2 also attests that the truth of יהוה, His Torah is for all generations; not just those who were brought out of Egypt and experienced the wilderness in Sinai.

     The proper way to walk is to pay attention to the statutes; commandments; ordinances; testimonies; and judgments of יהוה. Turn to Psalm 119:29-30 please:

"Remove me from the way (derek) of lying;
and grant me Your law [(Torah: ותורתך)] graciously.
I have chosen the way (derek) of truth
Your judgments I have laid before me.
I cling to Your testimonies; O LORD (יהוה)
do not put me to shame!
I will run the course of Your commandments,
[(Mitzvah)H4687: מצותיך]
for you shall enlarge my heart."

Which "way" will you choose? Broad? or Narrow? Turn with me to Psalm 119:43 if you would.

"And do not take the word of truth
utterly out of my mouth,
for I have hoped in Your ordinances.
[(Mishpat) H4941: למשׁפטך]
So shall I keep Your law continually,
[(Torah) H8451:תורתך]
for ever and ever. And will walk at liberty,
for I seek Your precepts.
[(Piqqud) H6490: פקדיך]
I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings,
[(edah) H5713: בעדתיך
and I will not be ashamed.
 And I will delight myself in Your commandments,
[(Mitzvah) H4687: במצותיך ]
which I loveMy hands also I will lift up
to Your commandments,
[(Mitzvah) H4687: מצותיך
which I loveand I will meditate
on Your statutes.
[(choq) H2706: בחקיך]

Notice that the Psalmist indicates we are able to "walk at liberty;" think "perfect law of liberty" my friends. It indicates a freedom that comes BECAUSE we seek the precepts of יהוה. Notice also that the Psalmist also declares that he LOVES the commandments. Do you love them; or, do you say they have been set aside; do not apply to Christians; and, are for the Jews? Did you know the Hebrew term for "despise" H3188 (מאס) "mâ'as" means:

          to "spurn; disappear; cast away (off); contemn; despise; disdain;
          (become) loathe (-some); melt away; refuse; reject; reprobate;
          X utterly vile person"

Friends if we say "those aren't for me" we are "rejecting" them; we are "refusing" them; we are "casting them off." Before you choose to firmly say you don't want to do them I STRONGLY recommend that you study to show yourself approved. How terrible it will be to discover you were deceived by a man/woman teaching just such a doctrine; and, learning too late that they too were among those who were deceived. Remember MANY will seek to enter the Kingdom; but, few are chosen. Messiah wasn't kidding when He said there was a way that SEEMS right; but, leads only to death. Let us make sure; one-hundred percent sure, that we have our doctrine RIGHT lest we find ourselves naked and ashamed; next to those we want nothing to do with.

Prior to Messiah (Yeshua) coming Israel had been instructed that the Torah was the "word of truth" which is why the Psalms direct us its ordinances; precepts; commandments; statutes; and testimonies. Friends follow along with me now into the Proverbs as we look at Proverbs 3:1-3 please:

"My son do not forget my law
[(Torah) H8451: תורתי]
but let your heart keep my commands
[(Mitsvah) H4687: ומצותי];
for length of days and long life
and peace they will add to you.
Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart
and so find favor and high esteem
in the sight of God and man."

     The law which Solomon spoke of was the Torah. Remember it is made up of the statutes; commandments; ordinances; judgments; and testimonies of יהוה the true and living God. Even Solomon knew we should write them on our hearts. How does one do that? You would have to admit first that they are truth; and, that they are necessary. Today many Christians don't believe they are necessary for them to follow. Personally I believe we should do at the Proverbs indicates. Turn with me to Proverbs 8:7 and see what should be upon your lips.

"For my mouth will speak truth;
wickedness is an abomination to my lips."

For those who have bothered to read Revelation they know what type of people the LORD יהוה is raising up. Turn with me to Revelation 1:5-6 please:

"...Jesus Christ [Yeshua HaMoshiach]
the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead,
and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us
and washed us from our sins
in His own blood, and
has made us kings and priests
to His God and Father..."

Again in Revelation 5:10 the Bible insists that Yeshua is raising up kings and priests who will reign on Earth. There is another part that must be considered friends. Turn with me to Revelation 20:4-6 please:

"...Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded
for their witness to Jesus [Yeshua/the living Torah]
and for the word of God [the written Torah],
who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and
had not received his mark on their foreheads; or, on their hands.
And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead did not live again until
the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Over such the second death has no power, but
they shall be priests of God and of Christ
and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

     Messiah is raising up a nation of kings and priests; however, the price of entry into that category is high; very; very costly. The price for admission into that category is your life. According to the Bible those must be beheaded; and, that my friends is the rub. The ones who rule; and, reign with Him aren't "raptured" and removed from the earth to avoid persecution; they confront it head on; and, they lose in the short term. Literally losing their heads over the situation. You may not be ready to accept this; yet, I tell you the truth Islam IS the final beast empire (combined with a religious system) that persecutes the believers in Messiah (Saints) and HATES the Torah. Expect to lose your head; prepare for it in advance. Know that in doing so you make a covenant with יהוה by the shedding of your own blood. You are telling Him I will keep your covenant even if it costs me my very life. Just so you know without a doubt what should be upon the lips of the priests he is raising up please go to Malachi 2:7:

"For the lips of a priest
should keep knowledge
[H1847 [(דעת) da'ath],
and people should seek the law
H8451[(ותורה) Torah]
from his mouth;
for he is the messenger
of the LORD of hosts."

Malachi was actually prophesying against those who has departed from the narrow road; and were causing people to stumble by teaching them NOT to keep Torah. The priests had departed from keeping Torah; or, from teaching Torah to the people. They were instead practicing the Oral traditions which would become the later codified format called "Mishnah;" and, then later the Talmud. They were teaching other laws called "fences" in place of the instructions given by Moses to deliver to the children of Israel. The "fences" were supposed to keep the people from breaking the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and, testimonies of יהוה. What they were SUPPOSED to be teaching were the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies of יהוה given to Moses on Mt. Sinai; and, ratified twice before the Children of Israel went into the promised land. Turn with me to Proverbs 12:17 please:

"He who speaks truth declares righteousness,
but a false witness deceit."

How should a King behave? Turn with me to Isaiah 32:1 please:

"Behold a king will reign in righteousness;
princes will rule with justice."

We know that Messiah will be THE King of Righteousness. If we can discern what righteousness IS by examining the definitions provided to us by the Bible should we not seek to behave in such a way?

            My friends; What are you declaring? Are you speaking Torah; and, declaring righteousness? Are you calling others to walk in obedience to the statues; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies of יהוה are for ALL time? If not then are you are among those who say it was done away with at Calvary; or, perhaps by Mohammad? It matters neither to which you belong for they both have the same result. Lawlessness. I tell you the truth; Messiah didn't come to do away with the truth. He came to show us how to live it. Turn with me to Proverbs 16:6:

"In mercy and truth
atonement is provided for iniquity
and by the fear of the LORD
one departs from evil."

Messiah provided for our atonement; and, He calls to us to walk a He did and depart from what the Bible calls evil; or, wickedness. He calls us to depart from the broad road and to choose the narrow road. Turn with me to Proverbs 23:23:

"Buy the truth, and do not sell it,
Also wisdom and instruction and understanding."

The term here for "buy" is (קנה) qânâh and it means to "procure; to attain; to posses; to get." יהוה expects us to seek Him will all our heart; soul; and, mind. When we find Him we are to hold fast to Him and His instructions. We have one opportunity; this life; and that is it. If we squander it; we have lost hope. Turn with me to Isaiah 38:18:

"For Sheol cannot thank You
death cannot praise You;
those who go down to the pit
cannot hope for Your truth"

We already know what "Your truth" is referring to; the Torah. Many today say that if you keep the law you have fallen from grace; and, are cursed by the law. Later in the chapter on "Grace;" and, "What's Up With the Law" I will answer this so completely that it will never be an issue for you again. For now please turn with with me if you would to Psalm 94:12-13:

"Blessed is the man
whom You instruct, O LORD
and teach out of Your Law [Torah].
That you may give him rest
from the days of adversity,
until the pit is dug for the wicked."

It is the wicked who go down into the pit and cannot hope for Your Truth. They cannot hope for statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; testimonies which if one walks in will bring them life. Messiah was the end, the goal, the purpose of the Law (Romans 10:4).

There are many who teach Messiah was the "termination" of the Law yet what Paul means is that purpose; the goal; of the Torah is that we become LIKE Messiah. The Psalms repeatedly inform us that the Torah is a BLESSING as do the Proverbs. How then can it be a curse?

I tell you the truth we enjoy blessings when we obey; but, cursing when we disobey. Today we see what the Prophet Jeremiah spoke of happening all around us. It happens on television; in films and in real life. It happens in peoples homes in dealing with their own family members. We see it playing out on the political stage. The presence is unmistakable in the legal system; and, unfortunately it plays out every week in Churches across America on Sunday mornings. Turn with me to Jeremiah 9:5 please:

 "Everyone will deceive his neighbor,
and will not speak the truth;
They have taught their tongues to speak lies;
weary themselves to commit iniquity."

They will not speak the truth; the will not speak the Torah to one another. Today the majority of Christianity teaches it has been done away with; that it doesn't apply to them; it is only for the Jews; and, if you obey it that you have fallen from grace; being judged because you are now "under the law." The Prophet Daniel knew that his people had erred. He knew that because they had turned away from the Torah. They had turned away from the Truth which was delivered by יהוה to Moses for all Israel. Turn with me to
Daniel 9:13 with me:

"As it is written in the Law of Moses,
all this disaster has come upon us;
yet we have not made our prayer
before the LORD our God,
that we might turn from our iniquities
and understand Your truth."

Daniel also refers to something called "the scripture of Truth" in chapter 10:21. Up until this point nothing else qualified as "scripture." Friends with all the wickedness in the world today that is surrounding us we find good counsel in the words of the Prophet Zechariah "Yah has remembered." Turn with me to Zechariah 8:16

"'These are the things you shall do:
Speak each man the truth to his neighbor;
give judgment in your gates for truth; justice; and peace.
Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor;
and do not love a false oath.'
For all these are things that I hate says the LORD."

The Prophet was not making a blanket statement; it was directed towards a specific people to whom יהוה was speaking. However we can reason that If יהוה WANTS His remnant to treat each other that way; then perhaps it would do us well to go ahead and practice it as well.

Many Christians today are asserting that no one is righteous citing Paul the Apostle in Romans 3:10. Turn there with me please.

"As it is written:
There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none that understands;
there is none that seeks after God."

Many twist this passage because they do not love the truth. They are untaught; unstable; and do not know how to rightly divide the word of truth. The entire quote is not found word for word together verbatim in the Scriptures. It is a quote of multiple passages that has been weaved together by Paul. If you seek out WHERE it is written and to WHAT Paul refers you will discover that the subject of the Psalm Paul is quoting is the WICKED and not the righteous. Continue with me in Romans 3:12:

"They have all turned aside

they have together become unprofitable;
there is none who does good, no, not one.
Their throat is an open tomb;
with their tongues they have practiced deceit;
the poison of asps is under their lips;
Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
Their feet are swift to shed blood;
destruction and misery are in their ways
and the way of peace they have not known.
There is no fear of God before their eyes."

On its face it appears Paul is saying that all of mankind is unprofitable; that none of mankind is good; none of us. In fact that is what the modern church is teaching. However if you examine the Psalm that Paul is quoting you get a different story. Paul is quoting segments of the following passages:

I CHARGE YOU TO LOOK THESE UP AND READ THEM ENTIRELY.

Psalm 14:1-3: speaking about those who are "fools."

"The fool has said in his heart,

"There is no God."
They are corrupt,

they have done abominable works,
there is none who does good

  • Psalm 53:1-3: speaking about those who are "fools."

    "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.'
    They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
    There is none who does good."

    Notice the connection between "Works" and "iniquity" in the following Psalm.Take Note of this!

Psalm 5:9-10: Speaking about the "wicked; " those who are known as "workers of iniquity;" those who "speak falsehood;" those who are "bloodthirsty;" and, those who are "deceitful." (See verses 4-6)

"For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;
their inward part is destruction;
their throat is an open tomb;
they flatter with their tongue.
Pronounce them guilty, O God!
Let them fall by their own counsels;
cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions.
For they have rebelled against you.

If you continue to read verses 11-12 you will notice a comparison made between these who are to be called "guilty" and those who are to be blessed "the righteous."

Psalm 10:7 (read this entirely take note it is speaking of those who are wicked).

Psalm 140:3 speaks about those who are "evil"

"They sharpen their tongues like a serpent;
the poison of asps in under their lips."

Notice how this Psalm is speaking of "evil men;" "violent men;" "the wicked;" in verses 1-5 and then begins to contrast them with those who say to
יהוה "You are My God;" who are "afflicted;" "poor;" righteous;" and "upright"

  • Proverbs 6:16-19 speak of the things the LORD יהוה hates. Then Solomon commands his son to not forsake the Torah. He asserts they are to be upon the heart. This very proverb assets that the commandment is "a lamp" and that the Torah is "light." This entire Proverb is about how to walk properly; and, the consequences of walking as the wicked do.

    Notice the contrast!
  • Isaiah 59:7-8 speaks about those whose works are "works of iniquity" whose "act of violence" is in their hands. I cannot help but think of those who currently behead believers in the name of Islam. It is like foreshadowing for the Great Tribulation when HaSatan pours out his hate; and, anger on those who hold to the testimony of Messiah; and, keep the commandments of God. Those [the wicked] do not do works of righteousness; but, those whom they persecute; slander; and, rush to put to death DO.

Friend there is a REASON I specifically mentioned Islam.
We will get into that later.

  • Psalm 36:1 is speaking of the "wicked" who have "no fear God before his eyes." Yet in verse 10 there is an indication of those "who know You" speaking about  יהוה.  There is a contrast between those who belong to the LORD and those who are "workers of iniquity."

    Pay attention to the contrast!

If you continue to read each of these Psalms completely you will find it also defines "them" as "workers of iniquity;" "bloodthirsty;" "deceitful;" "boastful;" "corrupt;" "proud;" "greedy;" "unwise;" and many other descriptions.

            My friends if no one on Earth is righteous as Christianity is teaching (because they have been twisting Paul out of ignorance); how then it is that each of these Psalms contrasts the behavior of the WICKED against the behavior of the RIGHTEOUS? Turn with me to Isaiah 26:1-2 please:

"In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation
for walls and bullwarks. Open the gates, that the
righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in"

ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE TORAH IS TRUTH. IF THE TORAH IS TRUTH; AND, THE RIGHTEOUS NATION KEEPS IT; THEN THE RIGHTEOUS NATION IS A NATION WHICH KEEPS TORAH. YOU DO NOT "KEEP" MESSIAH. YOU NEED MESSIAH TO CLEANSE YOU FOR WHEN YOU WEREN'T KEEPING TORAH.

Friends if you say that NO ONE is righteous then you become a liar. Paul was NOT saying there is no one righteous on the planet. He is not saying that believers are not righteous. Paul was speaking of the Wicked. An examination of the Psalms; and, Proverbs PROVES there is a distinction between those who are wicked; and, those who are righteous. In Psalm 14:5 it indicates:

"God is which the generation of the righteous."

If God is with the generation of the righteous; how then can you say NO ONE is righteous? That defies scripture. It goes AGAINST it. Turn to Psalm 5:12 and read how it indicates:

"God will bless the righteous."

If God blesses the righteous; how can you say NO ONE is righteous? Turn to Psalm 11:5 and read how:

"the LORD tests the righteous"

How can יהוה TEST a people group that doesn't exist? Either the Psalmist is lying; Paul the Apostle is lying; OR men have twisted Paul's words to mean what they do not mean. I pick door number three. Also read in verse 7 how:

"the LORD loves the righteous."

How is it יהוה LOVES those who many say "Paul says" don't exist? Friends how then can we say NO ONE is righteous? Psalm 1:5 indicates clearly there is a distinction between those who are righteous and those who are wicked. Furthermore it indicates BOTH exist. There are 59 passages in the Psalms alone which CONFIRM that there is indeed a people group who the Bible defines as "RIGHTEOUS." In Psalm 140:13 it says:

"Surely the righteous shall give thanks
to Your name; the upright shall dwell
in Your presence."

We will go over that much more in depth in the chapter covering "Who are the Righteous." For now turn with me to Psalm 25:10 please:

"All the paths of the LORD
are mercy and truth.
To such as keep His covenant
and His testimonies."

Do you know of His Covenant? Do you Keep It? Do you know of His testimonies? Friends Turn with me to Matthew 4:4 if you would:

"It is written, man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

I cannot impress upon you enough that Messiah IS the Bread; in fact He self identifies with the Matzo Bread in the Passover meal preceding His own death. Yeshua did not self-identify with the Passover Lamb; it was not designed to take away sin. The daily sacrifice (lamb) was the covering for sin; and, the Azazel (goat; or, lamb) was to take away sin. In John 1:29 Johanan the Immerser "John the Baptist" calls Messiah the "lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world." Friends we MUST understand this within the context of the Temple Service and what was a sin sacrifice.

The Passover Lamb was to ensure the angel of death didn't visit your household on the Eve prior to the Feast of Unleavened Bread called (The יהוה's Passover). It entered into all the homes of those who didn't have the protection; and SPECIFICALLY TARGETED THE ENEMY (EGYPT) OF THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL. I tell you the truth there WILL be a future application for Messiah being our Passover; and, again the enemies of the tribes of Israel will be affected; but, not yet.

Messiah being the Bread of Life is saying "you need more than just me; you need to pay close attention to what My Father has SAID and live by it." He is also quoting Deuteronomy 8:3:
"So He humbled you,allowed you to hunger,
and fed you with manna which you did not know
nor did your fathers know
that man shall not live by bread alone;
but man lives by every word
that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD (יהוה)."

Turn with me not to John 1:14 if you would:

"And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father full of grace and truth."

Messiah was FULL of "grace" and "truth." Many say Messiah IS the truth citing John 14:6; however Messiah HADN'T made that statement yet. Friends John isn't saying Messiah is full of Himself. He was full of something else was previously defined as truth. Messiah was full of TRUTH; Torah is TRUTH. Messiah was full of TORAH!

The Torah is Truth; The Word is Truth. Torah is the written word; Messiah is the living Word. The written word (Torah) was made flesh. Messiah LIVED IT. They must both be in agreement; otherwise Messiah sins against Torah making Him an imperfect sacrifice. Turn with me now to John 1:17 if you would:

"For the the law (Torah)
was given through Moses;
but grace and truth
came through Jesus Christ."

Notice the "but" is italicized. It means "but" isn't in the Greek text; it was later added. Torah was given through Moses grace and truth through Messiah. Moses couldn't bring grace; because he wasn't equipped to do so. Messiah brings both. He doesn't cancel out Moses; He does what Moses couldn't do; bring us into the Promised Land. Moses wasn't allowed to enter in because he misrepresented יהוה. Yeshua represented יהוה perfectly. Follow me to John 3:21 please:

"But he who does the truth
comes to the light,
that his deeds
may be clearly seen."

We cannot insert "Jesus" into the meaning of truth here. It makes no sense. You cannot DO "Jesus." You can however DO Torah which is called "TRUTH." And if you DO TORAH you come to the light. Messiah didn't DO Himself; He DID TORAH. He WALKED IN IT BECAUSE IT IS LIGHT. Were you aware Torah is called light? Turn with me to Proverbs 6:23:

"For the commandment is a lamp,
and the law a light;
reproofs and instruction
are the way of life."

He that "doeth" truth "cometh" to the light; are you beginning to see? Messiah is light; Torah is light. It is both; not one without the other. If you do not have both; you do not have the whole truth; just part of it. A half truth isn't the truth; but rather is a lie. The enemy is pretty good isn't he? He's a Sneaky bastard if I might say so myself. He's had a really; really; long time to work on it; and, hone his lie to deceive so many. Follow me to John 4:23 would you:

"But the hour is coming,
and now is, when the true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit; and,
truth; for the Father is seeking such
to worship Him. God is Spirit, and
those who worship Him must
worship in spirit and truth."

Friends I have a question for you. Will the Holy Spirit ever tell you it's OK to sin? Will the Holy Spirit ever tell you it's OK to murder; or to lie; to steal; to commit adultery; or, to bear false witness against your neighbor? If not. Why not?

Because that would be sinful; wouldn't it? Alright hopefully we agree about that. If you said "no" as I did to those questions here is another one.

Will the Holy Spirit ever entice you to reject instructions which DEFINE SIN for us? How can we know what sin is; if we have not read the instructions?

My assertion is that the Holy Spirit will NEVER entice you to disobey Torah; or, to TRANSGRESS (SIN) by violating the Torah.

Torah is truth; Messiah is truth. The truth was in Messiah. The Torah was in Messiah. The Holy Spirit was in Messiah. He said the Helper (Holy Spirit) would lead you into all truth. The Holy Spirit is to be in us. The Holy Spirit leads you to Torah AND Messiah. Torah will be in you (written upon your heart and mind) to motivate you internally how to walk the right way. Turn with me to John 14:6-7 please:

"Jesus said 'I am the way,
the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through Me.
If you had known Me,
you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him
and have seen Him."

  • Were you aware that the Torah is called "the way?"
  • Were you aware that Torah is called "truth"
  • Were you aware that Torah is "the way of life?"

Follow along to John 14:16-17:

"And I will pray the Father and
He will give you another Helper,
that He may abide with you forever--
the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive,
because it neither sees Him nor knows Him;
but you know Him for He dwells with you
and will be in you."

The Spirit of Truth will be in us. If the Torah is Truth then the Spirit of Truth is also the Spirit of Torah. Turn to John 15:26 please:

"But when the Helper comes,
whom I shall send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of Truth
who proceeds from the Father,
He will testify of Me."

The Spirit of Truth comes from the Father. The Torah came from the Father. Messiah came from the Father. All three must agree. Turn to John 16:13 please:

"However; when He,
the Spirit of Truth has come,
He will guide you into all truth; for
He will not speak of His own authority,
but whatever He hears
He will speak; and
He will tell you things to come."

The Father is the key my friends.

יהוה DOES NOT CHANGE.

Messiah was sent by the Father. Messiah does not change. The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father, the Holy Spirit does not change.
Messiah's message cannot be different from the Holy Spirit's Message because they both come from a source that does not change. Messiah's message; and, the Holy Spirit's message cannot be different from their source. Their source does not change. Messiah said in John 14:24:

 "My words are not my own but my Fathers who sent me."

When Messiah says in John 14:15:

"If you love Me keep My Commandments"

Messiah MUST be speaking of the Fathers Commandments; because, Yeshua does not speak words of His own. His words come from the source; the Father. If we know Yeshua; then we also know the Father. How? The Message of Yeshua is the SAME as the Message of the Father. How then can we say that Messiah does away with Torah? Why would the Father send His prophets over; and, over; and, over again with the SAME Message; and, then decide to CHANGE the message?

Repentance and Return was the message throughout all the Prophets; every last one of them. Some preached impending destruction; some preached mercy; they all pleaded from men to repent; and return. Please REPENT and Return to me so I won't have to destroy you says יהוה. If the son only speaks what He hears the Father say; and, the Holy Spirit only speaks what He hears the Father say all three MUST AGREE. Turn with me to John 17:17 please.

"Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

These are Messiah's own words my friends. The typical Christian response is generally "But Messiah is the word." I agree with you! Messiah wasn't skitzophrenic; nor, was he referring to himself in third person. He was referring to what the "Scriptures" had already called "the truth;" His statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies. Follow along with me for a moment. Turn now to John 17:19 as we read further into the passage:

"And for their sakes I sanctify Myself,
that they also may be sanctified by the truth."

Messiah isn't saying "I'm going to sanctify myself (make myself holy)." Put another way "I'm going to make myself clean by my own blood." He is saying I am going to sanctify myself (make holy; purify; consecrate) through the truth (the Torah-the written word) by DOING IT

Messiah didn't need to be sanctified by the shedding of His own blood as WE NEED. HE sanctified Himself by being obedient. Then because of His obedience He became a perfect; acceptable sacrifice; for our sins. Had he NOT been perfect; and, acceptable we would all be in a lot of trouble. He gave us an example to follow my friends. Furthermore He makes a way to forgive us for when we DIDN'T.

Sanctification is the process of becoming holy. It is a setting apart from that which ISN'T HOLY. In the TaNaK (Old Testament) Sanctification was a process of setting apart; obedience; and, sprinkling with blood to make holy. In order to be set apart we NEED to be obedient. Turn with me to John18:37 would you:

"Pilate therefore said to Him,
'Are you a king then?' Jesus answered,
'You say rightly that I am a king.
For this cause I was born,
and for this cause
I have come into the world,
that I should bear witness to the truth.
Everyone who is of the truth
hears My voice.'"

Friends Yeshua (Jesus) wasn't bearing witness to Himself. He was bearing witness to something else referred to as "the truth." Besides Messiah the only other thing Biblically (whole Bible); or, Scripturally (the TaNaK) that qualifies as "truth" are the statutes; and commandments which make up the Torah. Messiah was bearing witness to THEM. WE give witness that HE is Messiah just as the Apostles bear witness to Him. Messiah cannot bear witness of Himself. Don't believe me? Turn to John 5:30-31:

"I can of Myself do nothing.
As I hear, I judge; and
My judgment is righteous,
because I do not seek My own will
but the will of the Father who sent Me.
If I bear witness of Myself
My witness is not true."

Messiah doesn't bear witness to Himself; others bear witness that He is Messiah. There is a religion on the face of the Earth today where its founder bears witness to himself. It is called "Islam" and its prophet exalted himself through warfare.

 Messiah was exalted because he taught us to obey the Torah

Mohammad seeks to cast the Torah down to the ground and obliterate it. Be careful how to treat the Torah given to us by יהוה through Moses. You may find yourself standing next to those you didn't intend to be next to at the judgment. Turn with me to Matthew 22:16 if you would:

"And they sent to Him their disciples
with the Herodians saying,
'Teacher we know that You are true;
and teach the way of God in truth;
nor do you care about anyone,
for you do not regard
the person of men.'"

Do you know what the Bible calls the "way" of יהוה ? It would be well of you to do your due diligence in this matter. There is something which the Scriptures call the "way" of יהוה and these men knew Messiah was teaching it. Even so they still sought to destroy Him! Just as Messiah calls Himself "truth" and there is something else called "truth" likewise there is a "way" which is defined by the Bible. John the Immerser knew the way; and, he bore witness of it. Turn with me to John 5:33 please:

"You have sent to John and he has borne witness to the truth."

What was John the Immersers message? Turn to Matthew 3:2:

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

Before Messiah even came John the Immerser was preaching repentance; confession of sins; and, immersion. He was bearing witness to the Torah the written word; and, when Messiah came he bore witness to Messiah the living word; both of which contain truth. What is to befall those who reject truth? Turn to Romans 2:8-9:

"...but to those who are self seeking
and do not obey the truth,
but obey unrighteousness--
indignation and wrath,
tribulation and anguish,
on every soul of man who does evil,
of the Jew first and also of the Greek;
but glory, honor, and peace
to everyone who works what is good,
to the Jew first and also to the Greek."

Friends if you DO TORAH you are not doing evil; but, are being obedient to the God of Abraham; Issac; and, Jacob. There is a lie which has been in existence for close to 2,000 years and that lie is regarding the Torah. It was NOT done away with. It is NOT a burden. It is NOT only for the Jew. If you violate it you have sinned; transgressed; DONE EVIL. Please follow me to John 8:39 if you would:

"If you were Abraham's children
you would do the works of Abraham."
Were you aware that Abraham kept the commandments of יהוה ? Turn to Genesis 26:4-5 please:

"And I will make your descendants
multiply as the stars of heaven;
I will give your descendants
all these lands; and,
in your seed all the nations of the earth
shall be blessed; because
Abraham obeyed My voice
and kept my charge,
My commandments,
My statutes, and My laws."

Yeshua chastised the Pharisees because they were NOT keeping the commandments; statutes; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies given by EFEI which Abraham himself obeyed. Instead they had manufactured their own additional set of instructions which they were teaching to the people. Today we can find many of them in the now codified Mishnah; and the later commentary on in called Gemara which became integrated into the massive text of what is today called Talmud. Follow along with me as we read the scathing rebuke of the Pharisees in John 8:42-47.

          "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded
          forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He
          sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you
          are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the
          devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a
          murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth
          because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he
          speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of
          it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of
          you convicts Me of sin? And it I tell you the truth, why do you
          not believe Me? He who is of God hears God's words
          therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."

Messiah was teaching men to obey the truth; He was teaching them to obey the commandments; and statutes of יהוה contained in what is known as the Torah! Follow along with me to Romans 1:18.

          "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
          ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the
          truth in unrighteousness..."

Man tries to say things like the following:
  • There is no God (elohim).
  • We all worship the same God (elohim).
  • יהוה and Allah are the same (elohom).
    [Pope Francis is actually espousing this garbage at this present time; and, people who haven't read the Bible; or, the Qu'ran are believing it! Satan is using ignorance against them!]
  • The Law (Torah) is done away.
  • We are under Grace; therefore have no need for the Law (Torah).
  • יהוה loves homosexuals.
  • יהוה loves murderers.
  • יהוה loves pedophiles.
  • יהוה loves adulterers.
  • יהוה loves liars.
  • יהוה loves thieves.
  • It doesn't matter what we do יהוה will always forgive us.
I could go on; and, on; and, on. All are lies. יהוה HATES those lies and he HATES sinful behavior. He gave us His instructions so that we might separate ourselves from such things as He calls sinful; wicked; evil; profane; and, walk in such a way that He can have fellowship with us. He loves the righteous; and, He loves righteousness

He is not willing that any should perish. He is patient and calls to us to Hear Him; He calls out to many; in fact He gave His only begotten Son so that we might be forgiven for our multitude of sins; then repent; and learn to walk in righteousness as He does!

Turn with me please to 1 Corinthians 13:4.

          "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not
          parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely; does not

          seek its own; is not provoked; thinks no evil; does not rejoice
          in iniquity; but rejoices in the truth; bears all things; believes
          all things; hopes all things; endures all things. Love never fails."

Friends our Messiah consistently directed our attention back towards to the commandments; and, statutes of יהוה so that we would be able to make a distinction between iniquity and truth. Notice how they are opposites in this passage. When we sin we commit iniquity. Sin IS iniquity. Have you noticed that all around us today we live in a world that is literally full of cheer and joy as it revels in its iniquity? Remember so far the Bible has defined the statutes; commandments; judgements; ordinances; and, testimonies of EFEI as "true" and "the truth." It has also defined Messiah as the truth. Friends I suggest to you that the TRUTH includes BOTH of these things. Because together they are authentic. Holding to the testimony of Messiah; and, keeping the commandments of God.

There are significant prophetic implications to that statement. Should we take time to read the book of Revelation which is Messiah's own message from His own lips to John; in order to show us what will happen to His servant's it becomes clear that Satan hates those who do those two things. He persecutes those who do those two things even unto death.

  • Revelation 6:9:
    "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God; and, for the testimony they held."
  • Revelation 12:11:
    "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb; and, by the word of their testimony, and did not love their lives to the death."
  • Revelation 12:17:
    "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God; and, have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
  • Revelation 14:12:
    "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God; and, the faith of Jesus."
  • Revelation 22:14:
    "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life; and, may enter through the gates into the city."

Follow along with me to Galatians; one of the most misunderstood and most misinterpreted books in all of the Bible. Galatians 3:1.

          "O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should
          not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was
          portrayed among you as crucified?"

Up to this point again we must remember what the BIBLE has called "truth." The statutes; commandments; judgements; ordinances; and testimonies of יהוה; and, Messiah Himself. Neither abrogates the other! They point to each other. The Torah is supposed to sanctify us by setting us apart; and the later justifies us by His sacrifice cleansing us of the times we also failed to obey the truth.

Turn with me please to Galatians 5:7 again we find Paul asking about truth.
          "You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?"

Messiah constantly made a statement "go and sin no more." In order for one to do that they must know the definitions of what the Torah defines as sin so they might not continue in their offense. Do you know all the Torah defines as sin? If we say that we only have to obey Messiah then I ask you WHEN did Messiah say it was fine for us to sin? When did he say we don't have to obey? NEVER!!!!

I tell you the truth men who are untaught; and, unstable twist Paul because they a) have not foundation of truth; and, b) they have failed to study 1st Century Judaism and do not understand what Paul is saying and what he means within that framework.

Because I want to ensure that no one takes what I say and twists it I would like to direct your attention to Galatians 2:5 and Galatians 2:14. Both of these passages use the phrase "truth of the Gospel." I won't be answering these here in this chapter but in the chapter titled "So the WHAT Is the Gospel." If you feel you need an answer I would encourage you to wait until I get there; and, read this through in that order. If you are reading a print edition you can skip ahead. If you are reading the online version you will have to wait. Please be patient...it is a virtue!

Please turn with me to Ephesians 4:17-24 if you would.

          "This I say, therefore, and testify in the LORD, that you should
          no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the
          futility (G3153) of their mind, having their understanding
          darkened, being alienated from the life in God, because of the
          ignorance (G52) that is in them, because of the blindness (G4457)
          of their heart; who, being past feeling (G524), have given
          themselves (G3860) over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness
          with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ if indeed
          you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as
          the truth is in Jesus (Yeshua) that you put off, concerning
          your former conduct (G391), the old man which grows
          corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the
          spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which
          was created according to God, in true righteousness and
          holiness."

Friends the Gentiles were NOT given the Torah. It was not for them; but, rather it was for Israel. The instruction is to no longer behave as THEY do but rather to behave as one grafted into Israel would act; as a natural born child.

The natural born has a right to Torah; and, a responsibility to obey it. Messiah forgives our iniquities; then whistles to us to come and walk as He walks in obedience to the Truth

The text indicates that "the Truth" is in Messiah! He wasn't filled with Himself; He was filled with what the TaNaK had already defined as "the truth;" the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies of יהוה

Friends if you are in Messiah then you do not replace Israel; you become a part of Her! If you say that you are in Messiah; and, love not the brethren who are by nature Jewish then you are a liar. If you say that you love Messiah and hate Jews; then my friend, you will have some serious explaining to do. And, Messiah just might not bother to let you explain. He may simply say "to the left;" Next customer in line!

Brothers when a believer corrects you; points out sin, they do so because it is clearly seen. Do not take offense but examine yourself. Better to be rebuked by a brother in love; than to be rebuked by יהוה in His anger. The most loving thing you can actually do is to WARN another the path they are on leads to destruction. Unfortunately we live in a world where mankind wants their religion like their fast food; sixty seconds or less; and, if it isn't done "your way" like at Burger King they will go somewhere else that serves up lies like steaming hot fries. They taste oh so good; but, in the end they are full of things that can kill you.

"Wherefore put away lying and speak truth to your neighbor for we are members of one another!" Ephesians 4:25

Turn with me to Ephesians 5:9 please.

          "For the fruit of the spirit is in all goodness and righteousness
          and truth."

I tell you the truth the Holy Spirit will never lead you to a place where the Torah is rejected. It will never lead you to a place that says sin is "OK;" or, that we should tolerate it. Love the person; correct the sin. NOT Love the sinner hate the sin. Hating it doesn't correct it. Make an effort to reach out to them and show them in the word how what they are doing will lead to destruction. If you love them; you cannot; you will not leave them alone. Should they turn from you and choose not to hear; that is no longer on you; but upon their own head.

In Ephesians 6:14 it says this:

          "Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth and
          having on the breastplate of righteousness..."

Friends if we do not have the foundation that Messiah had; the Torah then we are not fully armed. We are rather disarmed. The lie that has been perpetuated for centuries that Messiah did away with the Law is the greatest lie the enemy has ever told. He said it often; and, he said it loud. He made sure the lie was so enormous that it would seem preposterous. I intend to prove it to you before the end of this book and hope that you will see how desperately we as a people need the truth; the whole truth; and nothing but the truth so help me God.

Friends please follow me to 2 Thessalonians 2:7:

          "For the mystery of lawlessness [(ανομιας) G458] is already at
          work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken
          out of the way. And then the lawless [(ανομος) G459] one will
          be revealed, whom the LORD will consume with the breath of
          His mouth and destroy the brightness of His coming. The
          coming of the lawless one (Isn't in the Greek Text) is
          according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and
          lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among
          those who perish, because they did not love the truth, that
          they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them a
          strong delusion that they should believe the lie, that they
          all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but
          had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Friends the Greek term for "lawless" is made of the Greek word (ανομος) "anomos." It is the term "nomos" combined with the Greek prefix "alpha" which resembles an "a." This prefix renders the term "opposite" its meaning. What we find is that "nomos" most frequently is used to mean the Law of Moses; the Torah. Those who are lawless are Torah-less.
They reject the instructions of יהוה.

For centuries Christianity has been teaching that Jesus did away with the necessity for the Christian to obey the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and, testimonies of יהוה

The modern "church" has been teaching its followers to be in rebellion against יהוה. This is why converting Jews who know the TaNaK has been so difficult. They KNOW that Messiah is not lawless. Therefore when they hear you claiming to follow Messiah; and, you reject the Sabbath (weekly); ignore the Moedim (the Feasts of the LORD) which are appointed times that are to be perpetually kept FOREVER; see you eating what is called "abomination;" practicing perversions which are contrary to nature and biology itself such as homosexuality; and lesbianism; idolatry; and other things He calls perversion they reject your version of Messiah.

They are rejecting a false Messiah.

Let me be clear. I am NOT saying that Yeshua isn't Messiah. I'm saying that the Hellenized version which most of the world calls "Jesus" who died so you don't have to keep the law is a false version; an impostor. The truth about Him; His identity; His mission; His character; has been obfuscated by none other than Satan himself who has masqueraded himself within the body we call the church. He is embedded in Seminaries; and, Bible Colleges across the world. Just as a virus infects its host killing it from the inside out; so has Satan infected what should be a blameless body of believers who are obedient to their king.

Those teaching it most often didn't know they were deceived; but, because they were; they simply taught others what they themselves had been taught.

The traditional knee-jerk reaction I get from most other Christians is a blank stare; as if a veil is covering their eyes followed by "but I'm saved by grace;" or "I'm not under the law; I'm under grace."

Friends understanding grace properly is of such monumental importance that our very next topic of discussion in the following chapter is exactly that subject matter.

To wrap this chapter up I would like to confirm again what we have learned. The Bible calls the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies of יהוה the truth.

The Bible also calls Messiah Yeshua the truth. Both are the truth; they do not cancel one another out. If you call Messiah the truth; but separate Him from the former he becomes a false Messiah. If you call the former the truth; but, reject the Messiah you have a situation where you remain unforgiven for the statutes; commandments; judgments; ordinances; and, testimonies you failed to keep when you were ignorant and didn't know you were supposed to be obeying them.

The Truth is that BOTH have always been; and, always shall be the truth; the whole truth; and, nothing but the truth.

Come with me now as we examine "grace" so that we might become More like Messiah; that we might sanctify ourselves with the commandments; statutes; judgments; ordinances; and testimonies of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob; our justification coming from Messiah's shed blood; so that we may prepare ourselves as the Bride He is coming for without spot or wrinkle.

    1. Hey Kristin. My intention is to sell the book when it is finished. I knew that what I was writing about would be important; and, wanted a way to make it available to as many people as possible. Right now all the chapters that are written appear as posts. Each post is a different chapter. You can start at the beginning and read all the way through by visiting the very first post I made in August. At this point mos of what has been occupying my time has been formatting the chapters which were completed for the web. As a chapter is completed; and, formatted for the blog I will post them. For now you can read them here for FREE!!! Please share the blog and what I have written! Thanks for reading.
